Each year, the Florida FFA Alumni & Supporters Executive Committee reviews the organization’s current by-laws to verify they reflect the current structure of the National FFA Alumni. This year, there are several recommendations that have been approved by the Board of Directors to present to the voting delegates. These recommendations will be voted upon at the State Convention Alumni Business Meeting, June 13th at 6:30. In accordance with our current by-laws we are required to provide a 30 day notice to all members concerning these revisions.
The Florida FFA Alumni & Supporters are looking for a few good members to serve on the Board of Directors. This year delegates will be electing Directors for odd numbered districts for a two year term. In addition, we will have three at large members to decide upon.
Applications must be submitted to run for a position. Completed forms can be emailed to Andrea Stevenson at email@example.com or turned in by 6pm, June 12th at Alumni Nation during State Convention.
Delegates are only allowed to vote for members within their area for district positions. All delegates may vote for at large positions. You must be an alumni in good standing to run for a position.
